2016 is the second year of the partnership between the Jeep® brand, celebrating its 75th anniversary and the Montreux Jazz festival, its 50th. To commemorate these historical milestones, xister created the Jeep Legendary Soundtrack project.
Original, authentic, dirty: the sound of a vinyl has so much in common with the Jeep® world and brand heritage, becoming a focal part of the project.
Onsite at the festival, in a dedicated space called the Vinyl Booth, visitors could choose a song from seven branded custom produced vinyl records, one for every decade of Jeep® brand history, play it on a turn-table and enriched by a vintage vinyl sound effect, listen to it watching one of the videos
retracing the history of the brand via vintage footage and advertising. At the end of the experience, visitors could take a vintage filtered shareable picture of themselves and feature on the souvenir Jeep® Vinyl Record Cover of the decade of their choice.
Online via the Vinylize Me app, Jeep® brand fans in Italy, Switzerland, Germany, France, Spain and the UK, could also create their own shareable Jeep® Vinyl Record Cover and enter an instant win for Deezer Premium+ subscriptions.
